MeerKat Chicken House Control System

The Meerkat Control System is used for the complete control and monitoring of large broiler raising operations.

It was developed with a different philosophy from other chicken house control systems, in that the aim was to have centralised control and monitoring of several chicken houses from one point.

In addition, the use of a PC is an important element of the system. The excellent user interface provided by PC's (keyboard, mouse, large screen, powerful graphics) is utilised to give the farmer fast, easy and powerful control of everything.

The system can control up to 15 separate chicken houses per site from one point.

Via the internet, the site can also be controlled and monitored remotely from anywhere.

The system consists of the following units:

• PC with dedicated Control Software.
• Main Controller.
• House Controllers, one per chicken house.
• Mains Output Units, one per chicken house.
• Various sensors
• SMS Alarm unit, one per site
